Mission

It is the mission of the Indiana Association of United Ways to bring Indiana United Ways together to help them create a successful future.

IaUW...Our abbreviation to emphasize our "association" membership value.

Program and Service:

• Community - building a network of local United Ways/Funds in Indiana to increase their learning and collective achievement.

• Performance - creating and delivering tools and resources increasing members' capacity to serve their communities

• Advocacy - representing United Ways to external audiences that contribute to United Way effectiveness and presenting education, income and health learning and practice to members

IaUW Vision of Successful Local United Ways:

• Work with an outcome focus, being innovative, collaborative, and visionary, operating with integrity
• Indetify and address community conditions
• Have committed volunteers and the support of community leaders
• Develop and leverage broad resources
• Educate and engage the community in United Way value
